ABOUT THE CENTRE

Zabajka is located in Stawnica, approximately 4 km from Złotów, surrounded by forests, fields, and open meadows. It is a unique place where nature works alongside us — offering children space for free movement, calm, and regeneration, while giving parents a moment of genuine relief.

Our centre is situated directly by a lake, just a few steps from the water. Silence, greenery, and fresh air create conditions that support a child’s nervous system, help regulate emotions, and foster a daily sense of safety. In such an environment, rehabilitation takes on a completely different quality, as a child’s development happens not only during therapeutic sessions, but also through everyday experiences and relationships. Nearby, families can also enjoy a forest walking path with a hardened surface, as well as a small mini-zoo — perfect for a peaceful afternoon after therapy.

At Zabajka Stawnica, animals are an essential part of daily life — something children naturally love. A horse, pony, goat, rabbit, or guinea pig are all part of our everyday surroundings. We also provide dog-assisted therapy. This form of contact has a remarkable calming effect, builds a sense of security, and often helps children overcome barriers more quickly than during standard therapy sessions.

Families staying at Zabajka can also make use of on-site facilities, including:
